CHINESE NEW YEAR GATHERING 2023

Registrations are closed
For Chinese people and Chinese communities around the world, Chinese New Year is arguably the greatest and most significant yearly festival. On the first day of the Chinese lunar calendar, the celebration is held. One of the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals is used to name each year. Chinese New Year is a time for family get-togethers, fresh starts, rekindled love, and hope for a joyful year ahead.  Families clean and decorate their homes in preparation for holidays. While making offerings and praying, debts are also paid off.

Additionally, a lot of food is cooked, and new clothing is bought. Like any other occasion, the gathering will draw together relatives from nearby and abroad. Firecrackers, fireworks, red clothing, and decorations are frequently used in celebrations to usher in the new year and bring luck and wealth. Money is presented to children in eye-catching red envelopes. Chinese New Year is also a time for feasting and visiting family. Many holiday customs pay homage to departed family members.

And on this widely observed lunar new year holiday, you ought to send well wishes to your friends, colleagues, employees, clients, or business partners. The truth is that you may wish everyone a happy Chinese new year without knowing any Mandarin. Perhaps you are considering what to write on a card for the Chinese new year.
